Fashion Drawing in Vogue

Yep, this is one of the perks of working at the library. Being able to get almost any book or DVD at your disposal. I found this one the other day, full of rich illustrations from Vogue’s of years’ past. They ranged from sketches, watercolors, abstract, realistic, they are all very interesting. With many words to accompany explaining and educating. This is a nice heavy book to fill you with hours of information or ideas.

It’s strange to realize that this isn’t a venue that fashion magazines take advantage of anymore. Except maybe through Ruben Toledo. Imagine how great it would be to have an illustrated cover now?
