I’ve gone a bit mad for prints, colors, textures, etc… and their combinations. When I wake up in the morning, I take a big deep breath and stare into my closet and visualize what is in the dresser to put something together. Lately, I have not been photographing my outfits in an effort to remove myself from life on the internet, so the pictures are far and few between sometimes. I’m learning again to dress for myself and not for the enjoyment of the blog. That on top of the changing weather has me all mixed up. I want to find new ways to wear the things I already have. So with adding a few quirky pieces and a bit of styling, I can change what I have.
In these two photos, I present two of my favorite tops. One a somewhat recent purchase, the other I’ve had for about three years or so, and the challenge of how to wear them is ever present!
Top: Vintage, from Buffalo Exchange. Belt: flea market vintage. Skirt: The Gap. Shoes: Vintage from Rose Bowl Flea Market.
I just really love this top, the red and the circles just make me happy. When I think of this shirt, I think of happy.
I have a sea of dresses, but something is pulling me towards separates. Except I have a sea of shirts I don’t like anymore…something will enlighten me again.
