Kimono

For some reason…some of my most favorite things are things I get for free or pay the least for. I’m not one for luxury sometimes. I found this simple cotton kimono in a pile on the floor at the Rose Bowl Flea Market for $1. So here I am on this red, white, and blue nautical kick again.

Wore this to the park by my house to hang out with the swans. There is a large pond there that I just sat by a while and contemplated the end of my semester. I can’t believe I have just finished the first year of grad school, and I decided to take the summer off to give my brain a rest from this roller coaster school has been. All was well at the park until an old man sat by me and tried to talk to me about his confusion of how animals mate. I decided to leave soon after.

What will you be doing this summer? I’m making plans to start going to California more since I wont be in school – trying to visit the beach as much as possible. Stocking up on sunscreen!
