Denim does it
7 Jul
Again, here I am attracted to super simple outfits with a tomboy twist. It’s my go to style this summer (who am I kidding, for this whole year so far). I also like that this outfit is very “going back to school” too :)
The bright color of these jeans also made me forget that they are indeed denim. When I got dressed, I really liked the idea of wearing this denim shirt with the simple denim jacket I’ve had forever. So much that I didn’t realize I’d be wearing this cool Texas tuxedo again.
Jacket: Gap, very old. Top: Vintage from Rose Bowl Flea Market. Pants: JBrand, from Net a Porter, partially purchased with a gift card they gave me. Shoes: Zara flats. Belt: Jcrew from Buffalo Exchange. Watch: vintage Bill Blass from Alameda Antique Faire. Necklace: Marc by Marc Jacobs heart from Fossil Outlet in Las Vegas. Diary: Moleskine 2012 journal.
This day consisted of lots of walking around and post 4th of July window shopping with my lady friend Jesica. So this outfit had to be comfy to do lots of walking and to brave the crazy wind we’ve been having. Although for once, I will not complain about our mild weather while everyone else is scorching.
I am here with my Moleskine 2012 daily planner, which has been my saving grace this year. Notebook, diary, and calendar? thank you! I am also very aware that I ended up wearing two watches! The heart necklace by now is just an accessory more than an actual timepiece. AND also aware that I’m wearing the same shoes and belt from the previous post, these Zara shoes are amazing and since the belt matches so well, I kinda have to wear them together.
Hope you all have had a great week.
