Since I’ve been on summer vacation, I’ve gotten a chance to explore so many more nooks and crannies of San Francisco by car, by bus, by foot (in flats and heels!). I spent this day strolling around Union Square, Chinatown, and back downtown in my new dress. I wanted to be summery and casual, but still be bright and not too blah (those damn tourists in their sandals and sweats giving well dressed San Franciscans a bad rap!). I’ve also been waiting for the perfect chance to wear these heart pattered tights again!
Dress: The Gap thrifted. Tights: Betsey Johson from Marshalls. Shoes: Paul Green from Buffalo Exchange (similar here). Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs white heart watch from Fossil Outlet.
I like that I’ll be able to transition this dress from warm and hot weather, to chilly and cold temperatures. With sandals and bare legs or with wooly tights and boots.
Jorge and I shot these photos on a whim while I visited him at his office, he was testing out a lens and was actually a block away from me! While he’s only my part time photographer, I always love how his photos come out. When he’s not around, my tripod and remote do the job, but it’s not the same thing as when someone else captures you.
I know that lots of you are melting in this summer heat! I’ll be joining the club in 2 weeks when I head back to the LA area. How are you beating the heat?!
