LookMazing

25 Aug

The awesome folk over at LookMazing have been on a roll here in San Francisco throwing events where attendees can participate in the ultimate shopping experience. It gave us the opportunity to visit the Gap and local boutique Azalea, and do what we all dream of: dress up in their clothes from head to toe. Once your picture is up, you get a chance to link to the products you are wearing and share it with others. The platform seems to be quite useful for those that don’t have blogs already, it was always fun to try it out for ourselves.

Here is my outfit from the Gap

Head to toe in the Gap: jacket, dress, belt, shoes, bag. Only the tights were mine. Now I really want these shoes.

My other outfit was put together by the lovely shop gals at Azalea. In fact, if you watch their promo video of that night, you’ll catch a glimpse of me at the sales associate putting this outfit together and its transformation (she made me try on some super duper short shorts at first).

Top: Liv, similar. Skirt: Azalea. Belt: Cheap Monday. Shoes: Mine, from Target. Tights: mine as well.

Both of the outfits are completely different and don’t belong to me, but I definitely could see adding both into my wardrobe. Playing dress up like this can be dangerous to your wallet.

What fun events! I like the idea of the sales people trying to put things together for people (adjusting them for tastes, of course). Gets out thinking outside your sartorial box a bit!

You look so pretty & I love both looks. I can see how one could get in trouble. What a cool concept/marketing tool to boost sales. I really love the first look!!! :)

You styled both outfits so beautifully!! I agree with you, playing dressup with such nice pieces like these is dangerous for the wallet for sure ;)

You look great in both looks and I totally hear ya on the danger part! heh I’m sorry I missed you at the Azalea event. I was there but it seems not at the same time as you. It was a great time though!
