Golden Gate Park style, sister style, fall style

15 Sep

I promise we’ve had a few sunny days here in San Francisco, but they seem to happen on the days I don’t take pictures! I recently had my sister visiting from out of town, so we decided to have a day in Golden Gate Park. The park tends to be cooler than some other parts of the city, so I bundled up with a coat and hat. Fall is on its way everywhere but has been peeking into San Francisco all summer long.

Hat: vintage from Alameda Flea market. Jacket: Lindex, free from Swapaholics. Top: Alexander Wang T. Jeans: Target. Boots: Sam Edelman, gift from sister.

Diana and I typically have completely different style, but we seemed to sort of coordinate style this day. Diana is wearing a Rag and Bone sweater, Alexander Wang top, and Zara boots.

Golden Gate Park has some incredible hidden gems dotted all over, we ran across the Dahlia garden as it was in complete full bloom. I’m planning on having a dahlia garden now one day.

THE DAHLIA GARDEN?! Where is the Dahlia garden? I’m afraid I’m woefully uninformed about where exactly to go in GG park. I know there’s some cool stuff in there but I’m never up to finding it.

Here’s to hoping for a few more warm days before fall starts in earnest. God knows we’ve earned it.

Oh of COURSE you guys  are BOTH stylish and beautiful and have great hair! I particularly love both of your boots. Respectively.

Also: I thought all of San Francisco seemed chilly when I visited! I think that as a Midwesterner, the entire West Coast had been sold to me in popular culture as a temperate paradise, just because you guys don’t get covered in snow. Lies, I tell you! I spent the whole trip digging for cardigans! Your city is gorgeous and progressive though. So you probably win.

You and your sister are adorable! And I want your hat. Actually, I want to move to SF so I can wear hats like that. They usually seem a little silly here in San Diego ;)
