I’m still here

3 Oct

New shoes, old socks. Awesome combo :)

My graduate school portfolio is due in 5 weeks, I’m freaking out a little bit (okay, a lot). That’s a whole month before the semester is even over, not to mention I have another class at the moment too (big paper due Satuday). I have blog posts, just not enough time to edit photos, do all the html stuff, proofread, and all that jazz. So this is short and sweet.

If you’ve ever thought about going back to school for higher education, take a good look at yourself and see if you’re willing to sacrifice many things for a few years – mainly your sanity. Will this really be over in December? Is this TMI for you guys?

ps. thrifted my dream ruby red slippers the other day, thought I’d try them on with my favorite Cheap Monday socks

Eli, I’ve been reading your blog and loved it! Always look forward to new posts from you but also realized you’re super busy with school. Don’t freak out. It’ll soon be over and all will be well! I consciously choose to hold off any graduate studies ‘cos I’m not ready for it will I ever be?! ;-)). Kudos to you – hang in there & best of luck.
    PS: love your red slippers!
    XO!

Good luck! Lately my blog has been put on the back burner too!  It’s been so hard to handle all of the balls I have up in the air. P.S. Love you ruby red slippers! XX

When I was in grad school, I had 2 theme songs (both by Queen): “Under Pressure” and “I’m Going Slightly Mad”. So I totally empathize!

    Good luck with your portfolio!

And I love the shoes with those socks. :)

I love your socks and shoes, so cute together!

It’ll go perfect. You will be very proud at the end of a long journey of hard work! I’m excited for you!! It’ll be totally totally ok, not TMI, and you’ll ace it! Yay for Eli!
