When I got this bright red blazer at the thrift store a few months ago, I wanted to buy matching pants. But who knew that finding a pair of red pants to match a vintage blazer would be so difficult? The shades were never quite right. So when I found this skirt, I had an “aha” moment that this would be the thing that matched my blazer. But alas, even the skirt is not quite the same color. It didn’t stop me from wearing it together this time. I didn’t exactly want to be monochrome, so I thought the pink would be a nice piece to mix in.
Blazer: Vintage Nordstrom thrifted. Top: Yves Saint Laurent , from Buffalo Exchange Las Vegas. Skirt: Marc by Marc Jacobs thrifted. Heels: Pierre Hardy for Gap.
What I really like about this outfit too was the only thing I bought new were the shoes. It’s so hard to shop for new things when I know I can get so many fabulous things thrifting. I’m sure many of you feel the same.
Current state of long hair situation – can’t tell you guys how tempted I am every day to cut it all off!
