I can remember the first time I wore this outfit very clearly – I wore it to work all day and then to drive to LA from Vegas. Not the most comfortable of driving outfits, nor the most appropriate for work. Now I’d wear it out to hang out with friends or shopping, it’s much too short for work ever again. I have lots of white dresses, so I thought I would remix this outfit with a white dress I love and that is much longer. It still has this country chic vibe that I enjoyed about the original outfit in the first place.
Jacket: The Gap. Dress: Rebecca Taylor thrifted. Boots: Gseries from Rose Bowl Flea.
The details of the linen dress fit right in. It’s a bit too cold to wear this now, but I could perfectly squeeze into this outfit any spring or fall.
I’m also quite tempted to cut my hair into the long bob from the original outfit. I’ve now crossed that hair is way too long and uncomfortable threshold where I can almost tuck my hair into my pants, it gets caught in the car door/window, and I’m finding long giant chunks of hair everywhere that make me feel like I’m going bald.
