Girl in a dress

I’m going to share a few pictures of one of my favorite little places along the water in San Francisco – it’s a serene and vast place with an awe inspiring tree. You can see a great bit of the ocean and land from it. But most importantly to me, it’s not overrun with tons of people.

I have (unsuccessfully) been looking for new dresses to wear to work that are fun and don’t necessarily look like they’re for “work” – and then I found this dress. It’s perfectly fitting of exactly what I was looking for. I brought the hat with me because it was really sunny this day, but I was thinking about making this casual with a pair of short boots and a denim jacket for another day to wear in another way. This abstract print is also a nod to Marimekko. I love it when pieces turn out to be so versatile. Very happy to welcome this dress into my wardrobe.
