A new printed pant

Per my previous outfit post, finding pants that fit and aren’t black, is my latest obsession. Furthermore, they have to be able to successfully transition between work and non-work outfits. So when I found these fun Jcrew pants at Crossroads a while back, I couldn’t believe someone would get rid of brand new pants with the tags still attached. I knew they would immediately fit, would be fun to wear, and the $15 price tag wasn’t too bad either (with a $75 sale tag, ooof, are people that careless about what they buy and get rid of now?)

Glasses: Vintage Rayban, thrifted. Top: Zara (this was actually my very last made in China thing I purchased many months ago, so this Comme de Garcons one is made in Japan and quite similar in style). Pants: JCrew, from Crossroads trading (wow, it looks like the pants are still for sale online in some sizes). Flats: Banana Republic, thrifted. Watch: Vintage Bill Blass from Flea.

  • Holy moly, that was a fantastic steal for you! Yay for Crossroads. Looking good in those pants, Eli.

I remember seeing them at Jcrew a while back. What a great deal!

  • Those are great pants! Maybe the original purchaser got them when they were having an extra half off sale sale? Because I can attest to finding something I love, on sale, buying, and then letting it sit in my closet forever because it never looked good on me and I tricked myself into thinking otherwise. but then it was a final sale… you know how it goes.

Really love this look, everything from j.crew it’s lovely

I bought the same pants from jcrew last winter during a sale and I love them but didn’t have the guts to wear them. I’ll have to give them a try

I’ve been having a hard time catching up to comments, I apologize in the delayed reply. I’ll be the first to admit that wear these printed pants is HARD! My coworkers straight up called me a hippie when I wore this outfit (but better than other things they can call me I guess!). I’m sure with black boots and a black tee they would look great too!
