A dark outfit

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving (and Hanukkah, if those are things you celebrate of course). I’ve gone and chopped my hair off as you can see – and you know what? I’m kinda tired of how limiting the short hair is already! I think I’m gonna start taking my hair vitamins again to speed up the growing out process.

After setting up these photos to post, I realized that I’m all strapped up – around my ankles, waist, even my wrist! Some days I fall back into habits of wearing all black. It’s a no brainer type of outfit, that requires no coordinating. We all need those some days (especially now when I have to get dressed in the dark in the wee hours of the morning! Hurry up winter solstice!)

Dress: thrifted, with all tags removed (hate when people do that). Tights: Hue. Shoes: Loeffler Randall, purchased with partial store credit from Shopbop. Belt: Vintage. Lipstick: my go to color, Get Up by Bare Minerals.

I also realized that my Shopbop ad on the side had been taking some of you to dead links – I deeply apologize and it seems to have been fixed now. It has never been my intention for it to do that. As you notice it is the only ad I run right now because they sell a lot of things that are manufactured in the US and are always transparent about listing things as such, so I enjoy working with them and sharing their merchandise and brands with you guys. If you ever happen to have issues with stuff like that again, please let me know so I can fix it right away!

I have some fun holiday style posts in the works to share on here (similar to what I had going on for Halloween!) so stay tuned.

I love that you are doing black and brown/tan I think it’s a very chic mix.
and you are so bold to chop your hair! I never would, for immediate fear of a similar regret.
