Weekend denim

I’ve been obsessed with doubling up my denim looks. I don’t care if it’s tacky, call me Texas Tuxedo/Canadian Tuxedo. Sometimes wearing double denim just works (unless you’re on a red carpet). In this case it was for a morning of antiquing – where you’re sometimes getting elbow deep in junk, and may have to get on your knees to look through piles or underneath furniture. I’m totally guilty of having done it before too. And not the last time you’ll see it here.

Top: Vintage, from Rose Bowl flea. Pants: old Gap boyfriend jeans, hand me down from my sister. Shoes: Target. Hat: Vintage, from Alameda flea. Belt: old Jcrew, from Buffalo Exchange. Watches: both vintage, from flea market (the gold one I had just purchased this day, hence why I was wearing two)

    double denim all day erryday!

  • I think that, as with most “rules” about style, what matters most is whether it looks deliberate and as if you are comfortable in your outfit/skin. You obviously hit both of these two goals 🙂

  • I do like a double denim look! You look great here and I love your tasseled loafers. Also, your hair continues to be perfect 🙂
