Pussybow

While I typically don’t get political here (you can get more of that by following me on Twitter) I do want to acknowledge the awful attacks that have been going on around the world. It makes me angry, sad, confused, sorrowful for families suffering everywhere…

On a lighter note, I went to visit my favorite place on Earth – Golden Gate Park. I love coming here because it is my serene spot in this busy and crazy city. I come here to meditate, think, write, draw, nap, walk, photograph, exercise, picnic, and bike through. I came by this weekend to just be by myself and think…(and these photos are from the week before last!) I try to come here as much as time allows.

The pussybow on this dress in an interesting feature, one day I will share a photograph of exactly how long it really is untied. I’ve been meaning to cut it! This dress was actually thrifted a very loooooong time ago. Originally, it was a bright banana hued yellow, and when I got the dress home it had a blue stain like it had been washed with some dark colors in the laundry. I couldn’t get it out, and I couldn’t return it…so I saved it for a long time until I finally decied to just dye it! I bought a dark navy blue dye bottle and was unsure of how it would result. I got a green dress instead :) But I quite like it anyway. The buttons and stitches stayed yellow because they’re synthetic undyeable materials
