I have noticed this weird thing with my morning commute to work, especially now that it’s been cold. I have a new route I take, which makes me ride a bus filled to the gills with people the duration of my ride (about 20 minutes spent standing like sardines in a can.) And it has been affecting/changing how I dress in the mornings to get to (and sometimes back from) work on mornings when it’s freezing.
I could bundle up for the outside world, but if I’m going to be bulky and super hot in a bus with others, then it has to be a more comfortable outfit. One with scarves and layers that I can easily take off when I feel like I’m about to overheat faster than an old car in a Las Vegas summer. I also enjoyed putting this easy work outfit together, because the mixture of the grey coat, green top, blue pants, and yellow shoes blended so well together with the colors of this scarf!
