Remix: Paul Green boots

It’s been a long time, but I’ve brought these shoes back from the depths of my closet. In 2010 I had bought these Paul Green boots when I decided to take the credit instead of the cash option after trading clothes at Buffalo Exchange. They have been one of the most durable and consistently in style shoes I’ve had! I can actually pinpoint exactly why I didn’t wear them much lately – I used to work at a library that was very old and had vaulted ceilings which echoed the staccato of any shoes I wore that weren’t soft soled! But now that I’ve switched libraries, my shoe game has literally stepped up.

I wish there was a way all of you could get these shoes on your feet right now. You wouldn’t believe me if I told you they were some of the most comfortable shoes I own! I don’t even see them pop up on Ebay very often (trust me, I’ve looked.) I would wear every single one of these outfits today, and you can’t really tell they were pictures taken in a span over 6 years, other than by my hair 🙂 This is why you need to look for timeless elements in things you add to your wardrobe, instead of trendiness.

Unexpectedly well with this dress, which to me will forever be known as the dress I bought that Drew Barrymore also got 🙂 (long story)

I just donated this All Saints top TODAY to Goodwill because it was a little too goth for me. But I love all the colors and subtle textures of this outfit. Still looking to replace that skirt, had to donate it when I had lost weight.

Hmm, I could still wear this kinda crazy outfit today!

Not sure what was going on with my hair here…this is a spin on the school uniform.

I loved and still love the grey and blue neutrals of this outfit!

I wore this outfit so many times I had lost count. I wish I still had the top and skirt. I think they got washed and worn so much they just never looked wearable again.

Oh how I wish I had an occasion (and weather) to wear this exact outfit again. It’s so colorful and fun, I remember getting so many compliments that night.

Cheers to a great pair of shoes 🙂

Paul Green shoes are the best! I only own one pair: dressy high heeled ankle strap sandals in black suede. A totally basic, wardrobe staple shoe, but so comfy. I also did not pay retail for them, but now that I own a pair (and if I had the money), I would totally pay retail for Paul Greens. Plus, made in Austria!
