Ay Caramba

I had become a bit obsessed with the weirdest thing a few months ago. I got it into my head that I NEEDED to find a vintage Simpsons sweatshirt. Don’t ask me why, I can’t even remember why. And the problem was that it was hard to find. Mostly because I’m neurotic about buying things online you cannot try on (and return easily.) Half the time, the sweatshirts were too big – mostly because they were for men. Or they were really expensive – because they were rare and funny. Sometimes they were just too worn or weird (aka dingy) looking – not what I was going for…I ended up jumping for something I thought was cute. It did end up a tad bit too small for me (okay, really small.) It fits more like a top than a sweater, but with our mild San Francisco summers, it works.

It’s hard to read what Bart is saying, but it’s the famous “Jingle bells, Batman smells…” line! I’m actually shocked to realize I haven’t shown this skirt more here on the blog – I practically lived in it last year!
